ATTA Elevators Corp. has acquired Leading Edge Escalators Inc. (LEE), based in Oshawa, ATTA CEO Mark Attanasio announced in October. LEE founders Sam Ala and Cale Anderson will oversee day-to-day operations of ATTA’s new escalator division, serving national corporate clients, government agencies and commercial property owners. Bolstered by LEE founders’ “experience and strong technical skills” and a team of escalator technicians, ATTA’s new escalator division is equipped to provide service on escalators, shopping-cart conveyors and moving walks, Attanasio said. He said the move allows ATTA to better serve large corporate customers.
